A few days ago I promised my boy Michael Wiggin an alien pic, because I was posting art like crazy and couldn't figure out what else to draw...and he suggested aliens. Since I didn't have any at the time, other than some old sketches, seems like my collection was missing aliens altogether. So this, will be the first alien image in my gallery EVER, and I owe it all to Michael!

When Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii was announced, and they had Samus, in her Zero suit...Samus fanart from all over the place started popping up. I even got my own little gallery on this Metroid fansite. Anyway, I wanted to do something I hadn't done in a LONG time...completely digitally watercolor one of my sketches in Painter 5. Yeah, I know, I need to upgrade, but like I always say...if it ain't broken, don't fix it. This picture took me hours upon hours upon hours to finish because I was being a total perfectionist about my colors. This picture has generated almost 5,000 pageviews in my DeviantArt gallery...that's probably one of my most viewed pieces of artwork. I think I somewhat deserved it, lol.

Again, I love doing Crysis art. This one did ACTUALLY take me a few hours one morning to do. I think it was last year, I'm not even sure at this point I draw so much crap. Anyway, I've said it once before...anything mechanical and science fictional, especially if it resembles The Guyver, Kamen Rider or any Japanese Sentai, I'm all for it!

So, I've decided I'm going to start moving select images over from my DA account over to my blog for easier access than having to dig through my Deviant gallery for them. My Crysis fanart is some of my favorite, mainly because it looks like I put a lot of time an effort into them, when in reality, they didn't take as long as you'd think. I'll still never get to actually play this game because I don't own God's computer, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it.
